Laura is an experienced licensed Physical Therapist who obtained her bachelor's degree in Exercise Sports and Science and a Master’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Texas State University. Laura quickly displayed the necessary dedication to both her patients, as well as the commitment to grow and learn within the field of physical therapy, to achieve tremendous results with her clients. Soon, Laura became an integral part of the clinical management team by being named Physical Therapy Department Director. Laura has treated a diversified case load of pediatric disorders and diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation, stroke, traumatic brain injuries and muscle tone disorders. Recognizing early in her career the significance of the link between the brain and body, Laura became focused on pediatric neurology and the benefits it could provide her patients. As a result, in 2012, she became certified in the TheraSuit Method®. To complement this growth path, Laura received additional training in the treatment of myofascial disorders, NDT, Dolphin MPS and reflex integration. Laura’s passion for helping children achieve their maximum potential has been evident throughout her journey. This passion and dedication shown by both her and her staff has resulted in amazing accomplishments and success through the implementation of The Winter Program.
On a personal note, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband raising their two beautiful daughters. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering, BBQ's, and family gatherings.
